Zolpidem.

Zolpidem is used to treat insomnia. It belongs to the class of sedative-hypnotics and can be recommended for patients that need to be taking some meds to sleep well without waking up in the middle of the night. You will need to tell your doctor about any medical conditions you have, especially the following ones: myasthenia gravis, lung disease, sleep apnea, liver disease, kidney disease, or a history of drug or alcohol addiction. Make sure you take each dose of this medicine with a full glass of water and avoid eating too much before that. Eating too much before taking zolpidem may affect the way this drug is absorbed, and you may not get the effects desired. It's very important that you continue taking Zolpidem for as long as prescribed, but not longer than 14 days in a row. Zolpidem is a drug of abuse, so you may develop an addiction. When you stop taking zolpidem the following withdrawal symptoms may be experienced: seizure, anxiety, stomach pain, muscle cramps, vomiting, panic, nausea, behavior changes, and sweating. Do not give zolpidem to other people and never take more of it that necessary, as an overdose of zolpidem can be fatal. The following symptoms indicate an overdose: slowed breathing, drowsiness, slowed heartbeat, and coma.
